HOW DO I USE THE eSIM ?
The eSIM with installation and activation instructions will arrive in your email. Here are some quick steps.
Before starting the installation process, keep in mind that you must be connected to a stable Wi-Fi network (you cannot be connected to another phone's network in "internet sharing" mode) and your device cannot be in airplane mode.

Check that your phone is compatible with eSIM technology.

Check your email, the same one you provided during the purchase process. There you will find the QR code (eSIM) and instructions for use.
Scan the code from your phone and get ready to follow the installation and activation steps.

Select the new Connecty eSIM as your default. You're now ready to browse.

The eSIM can only be installed once; if you remove it from your device, you will not be able to install it again.
HOW TO DEACTIVATE THE eSIM UPON RETURNING FROM A TRIP?
Go to Settings > Cellular network. Select the eSIM you want to remove and choose Remove eSIM.

To check your data usage, you need to reset your usage statistics to the day you leave your home country. Follow the steps below, depending on your operating system.

Settings / Cellular Network / Cellular Data / Scroll to the bottom and click on the Reset Stats option

Unlimited plans do NOT allow data sharing, plans paid per GB do allow data sharing.
You need to enable data roaming for the plan to work correctly. This does NOT incur any extra costs.
The eSIM does not expire, so it can be recharged for future trips to LATAM or the Caribbean Islands within the next 12 months.
For the eSIM, the QR code can be read up to 5 times, as long as it is done on the same device.
Top-ups are available once you've used up your data allowance or your plan's validity period, for the same amount of data we have available. To top up, please contact us via our WhatsApp support line.
Important: The plan is activated when you install the QR code on your phone, so if you are in Colombia and install the QR code before your trip, your plan will start using up your data allowance.
