Was the Flower Festival the perfect excuse to visit Medellín?

But this August we decided to look closer, stop and celebrate who we are.

🌼 What is the Flower Fair?
It is Medellín's most emblematic celebration.
It takes place every year in August and pays homage to the region's peasant and flower-growing roots .
The main event is the Silleteros Parade , where families from the Santa Elena district carry on their backs enormous flower arrangements full of flowers, art and messages that represent the pride of the Paisa people.
But the fair is not just about flowers .
There are concerts, art markets, vibrant culture in the streets, and joy in every corner.

Located in Envigado, just minutes from the city center. Pools, waterfalls, and nature trails. Perfect for picnics, walks, or simply escaping the noise of the city.

A ship-shaped building in the heart of Medellín. A little-known architectural gem, ideal for lovers of history and urban photography.
🎭 The Little Theatre
An independent, warm, and authentic space. Here, the local scene comes alive with intimate works. A different way to discover the artistic talent of Medellín.
🥐 Panchocha
Traditional Antioquian bread, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can find it in San Félix; it's perfect to enjoy with hot chocolate.
🥟 The Other Station
Famous for its empanadas and freshly fried breadsticks. A typical, delicious, and inexpensive place where you'll experience the culture of the Paisa region.
🗺️ The classics
Comuna 13, with its contagious energy. Guatapé and its imposing Peñol. Santa Fe de Antioquia, which seems frozen in time.
