Does this service work on cruises?
The initial answer would be no, because mobile operators use GSM antennas located on land. However, some cruise ships sailing near the shore may have coverage as they can connect to the antennas' signal, so you would have a signal in ports.
Does this service work on airplanes?
No, you lose the connection to the GSM antennas used by mobile operators on airplanes. Some airlines offer internet service during flights. You can check with the airline you choose for your next destination.
What information or documents should they ask me for at the time of purchase?

How long does it take to receive the SIM or eSIM after making the purchase?

Express delivery: You can receive your SIM the same day in Medellín and Bogotá if you make your purchase before 3:00 pm
Nextday deliveries: you can receive your SIM the next day for orders placed before 5:30 pm in Medellín, Bogotá, Barranquilla and Cali. For the rest of the country, shipping time is 2 to 4 business days.
eSIM
You will receive the email with the QR code within approximately 30 minutes to 3 hours. This applies between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday (we are still working to automate this process so you can receive it in minutes).
Express delivery: You can receive your SIM the same day in Medellín and Bogotá if you make your purchase before 3:00 pm
Nextday deliveries: you can receive your SIM the next day for orders placed before 5:30 pm in Medellín, Bogotá, Barranquilla and Cali. For the rest of the country, shipping time is 2 to 4 business days.
